A little about me

I'm a traditional Gaelic singer from Donegal on Ireland's northwest coast. My work is rooted in the Irish-language song tradition of my home area and increasingly explores the connections between Irish and Scottish Gaelic music. Alongside performing, I teach, research and work to preserve and pass on traditional song.

My latest album and bilingual book, Mín na Craoibhe, brings traditional song together with contemporary arrangements while documenting the people, places and stories behind the songs. My work has taken me from festivals across Ireland and Scotland to Nashville, where I recorded and filmed with TG4's Music City.
