New album/book

A bilingual book and music album by Diane Cannon.

Diane Cannon offers a personal insight into the inspiration and cultural background

behind the songs featured on the accompanied album. Drawing on conversations and

collaborations with the musicians and tradition bearers who shared the songs with her,

the book reveals the stories, memories, and living traditions that are at the heart of

the music.

The book includes a CD of the recordings, along with links to digital downloads,

creating a complete listening and reading experience.

Featuring accompaniment by Steve Cooney, Dónal O’Connor, Conor McCreanor,

John McSherry, Francis McIlduff and Paul Meehan, with musicians from the Ulster

Orchestra under the direction of Paul Campbell. Produced by Dónal O’Connor.
